Stage 1 Detail - Machine polishing
Decontamination and preparation
After the car is washed, preparation is as important as the polishing itself.
The car is decontaminated using a clay towel and lubricant in order to remove the surface debris which would feel rough to the touch and interfere with polishing. The car's sensitive trim such as rubber and plastics are then cleaned by hand.
Machine Polishing
Each panel is polished using a random orbital machine and a specifically designed pad in order to remove fine scratches and introduce a shine and depth unparalleled by hand.
Cleaning, inspection and Last Stage Protection (LSP)
Once the car is polished, each panel is wiped down with a panel wipe and isopropyl alcohol in order to remove excess polish and fillers to expose the paintwork to a naked state in order to be inspected (less important here than for a correction).
Once we are happy with the work, the car is given a coating chosen by you, whether that may be a wax, sealant or a premium ceramic nano-coating for unrivalled protection and reflection. (Right is a video of a hydrophobic nano-coating)
